My name is Ryan Murphy and the 2008/2009 season was my first year working for Cheerific. I graduated form NAIT’s Digital and Interactive Media Design course in 2008 and have been working on a variety of projects since then. Before working for Cheerific, I worked for CurlTv and filmed curling matches across Canada. The experience helped me fine tune my skills, and has provided a great start to filming live events.

I never really had a cheer team so it was a brand new world I’d been introduced to. I had no idea about how much work it actually was, and I really enjoyed the chance to learn more about Cheerleading.

I enjoy experiencing new things and because of that I do a lot of freelance video work on the side. It helps develop my skill and learn what it’s like to work with different people. I also love camping and travelling as much as possible. When I’m not doing any of the above, typically I find myself hanging out with friends or gaming in my spare time.
